Bethany Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod located in the Belmont neighborhood of Pueblo, Colorado. Since 2014 we have partnered with Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Pueblo West to form a dual parish.

What to Expect
At Bethany our worship is “traditional” or “liturgical” but it is anything but rote. We utilize ancient forms of worship to focus our attention on God and His work for us through Jesus Christ.
We have opportunities for prayer and praise, but the main event in our worship is what God does for us. In Confession and Absolution, God forgives our sins. In the reading of Holy Scripture, God reveals his Son Jesus to us.
In Holy Communion, God feeds us, strengthening our faith as we continue through this life.
Meet the Pastor
Pastor Nick Shults was born and raised in Beaverton, Oregon and attended Seattle Pacific University where he received a B.A in Christian Theology and Christian Education and Concordia Seminary where he earned a Master of Divinity degree. Nick was pastor at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Sunnyvale, California prior to receiving the call to serve as pastor at Bethany Lutheran Church in Pueblo and Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Pueblo West.
He volunteers as a jail chaplain at the Pueblo County Detention Center and is working towards becoming a Colorado Master Gardener. Nick and his wife Jen enjoy spending time together outdoors, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, and camping.
